| 根据沙特阿拉伯标准组织（SASO）发布的公告，从2015年5月开始，沙特对进口的部分卫浴产品采用新的检测标准，公告原文如下：
New Technical Regulations for Ceramic Sanitary Appliances (Western Water Closets)
A new regulation effective from May 20th, 2015 has been issued by SASO for Western Water Closets imported to, or manufactured in, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This regulation stipulates that the required water consumption of western water closets shall have an average total flush volume not exceeding the values indicated below.
a) 3.0 Liter per flush for floor-mounted western water closets pans type; and
b) 4.0 Liter per flush for wall-hung western water closets pans type
根据目前SASO的要求，陶瓷砖检验标准为沙特标准SASO 1031，(同时ISO 13006或者EN 14411也被认可)。卫生陶瓷的产品标准为SASO 1025，其中坐便器的检验标准为SASO 1473、洗手盆的检验标准为SASO 1476、妇洗器的检验标准为SASO 1475。(同时欧洲标准EN 997、EN 14688、EN 14528也是被认可的)。
此次公布的新标准的标准号为SASO 1473-2014，有需要标准原文的朋友可以关注公.众.号sasococ获取。壁挂式每次冲水大于4L和平移式每次冲水大于3L的马桶、坐便器等水暖卫浴产品，都在新标准的管制之列。
