The Senior Buyer will join a 100+ year old company from British which provides superior design, project management and technical expertise and will be based in Shanghai. He will be in charge of sourcing and purchasing production equipments such as Pumps and Valves.

Compensation and benefits£º
Fixed basic monthly salary starting from 10-15K RMB (depends on qualification, working experience and English skills) 
Year-end Performance Bonus ( 10%-15% annual salary ) 
Other competitive allowance

Job Responsibilities:
• Management of vendor base for assigned commodities
• Implement sourcing strategies to support corporate and divisional objections, providing our client a competitive advantage in the areas of materials, supplies, and services
• Control commodity purchase price variances
• Establish and manage cost saving goals for assigned commodities
• Coordinate organizational demands with vendors; monitor and evaluate vendor performance
• Generate various reports related to assigned commodities
• Maintain database accuracy

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor¡¯s Degree ( material shaping & control preferred )
• Minimum 7 years relevant working experience 
• Professional skills of collaborative team working, project planning and management, communication
• Strong statistical and analytical/comparative abilities
• Working knowledge of computers and proficient with PC software
• MRP experience required
