| COMPLIANCE
Please be advised that all stuffed articles (ie jackets with down or polyfill, stuffed animals, purses with fill,etc) being shipped into Canada require a stuffed articles label which includes a vendor/manufcturer registration within the Canadian province they are being shipped. We are only in compliance with this regulation, which is by Province, if:
A stuffed articles label is contained in each garment shipped
a. Pre-Production: this will require a separate BOM for Canada styles bought (mainly outerwear styles) to ensure vendors are instructed properly
b. Rebecca- we should create a lable with Paxar and Tag Time to be ready for quick ordering. The required label is on the below web site (see Label Requirements):

Each and every manufacturer (factory producing the garments) has to have a valid registration number. The vendors must apply and pay for this registration which is to be renewed annually. The registration number is to be listed on the stuffed article label in each and every garment. I am attaching the web site with manufacturer registration form:

Again, this is a PROVINCIAL requirement. The attached web site pertains only to Ontario, and the registration form is only for Ontario. Guess Canada stores are in 5 provinces in Canada, and we need to be compliant in all of them. As per the website, the registration and labeling requirements pertain to 3 provinces, and separate registrations are required: Ontario, Manitoba, Quebec. This pertains to Private Label, as well as non-private label purchases. The website (see contacts and links) gives information regarding registration inquiries for Quebec and Manitoba in addition to Ontario. Vendors need to register in all three Provinces, and can label the garment with only the Ontario registration number (I verified this with the inspector today. We cannot handle distribution of 1 style with three separate labels)
Cost- Each vendor pays for registration annually, per province. This may be quite costly for multiple vendors and Provinces and you may get requests as to whether or not Guess will pay for this.
请教各位DX，能否有空的时候帮忙看一下这段话的意思，其实我就想知道一下其中“STUFF ARTICLE NUMBER ”是什么意思。因为我们在去年的时候有一批服装出口到加拿大，中间商说要这样一个号码服装才能买。但是我问过海关，报关人员，他们都不知道这是什么号码，有那位DX知道的，请指教。谢谢！
