| My dear friend, we have received your message with thanks. We hope this is going to be a long lasting business relationship. Actually we want to invest some money in your country/company in long terms, if your byelaws allow for foreign direct investment. We can also invest in any viable, profitable and lucrative business, which you might suggest to us. We can fund viable projects.
We have a total sum of USD$37.5million ready for the investments. The money does not relate to drugs, money laundry or terrorism. It has no criminal origin. Now our idea is to have a foreign reliable, honest, trustworthy and capable company/partner like you whom the money will be moved to and we can proceed with the investment in your company/country. We are therefore contacting you with a view to receive this money on our behalf so that we can invest in your company and also in any other profitable business, which you might suggest.
The nature of your business does not matter at all to receiving the money on our behalf because all we need to do is to contract a reputable lawyer who will secure all legal authority, affidavits and necessary approval documents and paperwork from concerned government parastatals, departments and agencies to put you in place as the bona-fide beneficiary of the funds to enable you receive it on our behalf. We have made concrete arrangements and have also concluded all necessary contacts to move the funds in your name while ensuring maximum security on both sides. You do not need to come here for this process.
The lawyer which will be nominated will establish and register a company in your name with the Corporate Affairs Commission and he will make it that your company which will be registered as an indigenous company here, legally executed a contract for the Nigerian Ports Authority. The contract would be for the refurbishment and maintenance of two Nigerian cargo ships, the M.V. Otamiri and Oloibukun cargo ships. Then the fund will be documented as payment due your registered company for the contract it executed for the Nigerian Ports Authority. It does not matter whether or not your company does contract projects of the nature described here. The assumption is that your company won the major contract and subcontracted it out to other companies. Please be informed that once you receive this money on our behalf and we begin the investments in your company/country, you will manage the funds and investments for us until we retire next year from office then we will come over to your country to live and spend our retirement while also doing the investor role in our mutual investments. The lawyer will draw up a binding agreement to this effect, which both parties will consent to before the investments proper.
If you can assist us to receive this money, we will give you 25% of the total amount, 5% shall be for incidental expenses including telephone calls while 70% will be for us, which we will use for the total investments under your guidance and advice. If you are interested to achieve this project with us, reply immediately by sending the below information. 1) Your full names and address. 2) Your private telephone and fax numbers for easy communication. 3) 2 first pages of your traveling passport. All these information will be required to make formal applications as a matter of procedure for the release of the money to you as the bonafide beneficiary. 4) You will assure us that you will not run away with the funds when you receive it on our behalf.
