Design Features
XECONEX™ implosive connectors are completely metallic void free which provide a totally compressed, uniformly smooth and straight fitting without birdcaging the conductor. The high energy process does not elongate the sleeve therefore the length of the fitting before and after compression remains the same. This benefits allows sleeves to be installed in close proximity of one to another or to other line hardware without creating birdcaging or stress to the conductor. The unique design of the mouth of the implosive sleeve allows the conductor to move freely eliminating any possible damage caused by the edge of the fitting. XECONEX™ is designed to be 100% of UTS of the conductor and to measure at the most 40-50% of the temperature of the conductor. XECONEX™ can be used with AAC, ACSR, TW, SD, ACSS, AWAC and other conductors.
