1)The towel covered by this SOR shall be made from good quality cotton yarn, well and evenly spun free from deed.
2)The cloth shall be consist of warp and weft ground yarns and warp pile yarn woven with a 3 pick terry weave.
3)Hems. All hems shall be sewn with a lockstitch using stitch type 301 BS 3870 with not less than 5 stitches per cm. The terry pile shall not be caught in the hem.
4)S***gs. Cotton thread (12-15 tex x 3) shall be used, where the colour of the thread shall match that of the towel.
5)Ratio of length of terry to length ground
6)No of thread per cm
7)PH value of water extract
8)BS 1006:1990 C05 , AS 2001.4.21,ASTM D 1907, BS 2576
