Generally, shareholders holding Class A or Class C shares of a Mason Street Fund will receive Class A shares of the corresponding American Century Fund, and shareholders holding Class B shares will receive Class B shares of the corresponding American Century Fund. If you own Class A shares or Class C shares, American Century will waive all front-end sales charges (loads) in connection with the issuance of its funds' Class A shares in the transaction. The Funds may in the future operate under a master/feeder structure. This means that each Fund would be a 'feeder'' fund that attempts to meet its objective by investing all or a portion of its investable

It is expected that any such investment company would be managed by Rafferty in substantially the same manner as each Fund. Under an Investment Advisory Agreement between the Trust, on behalf of the Funds, and Rafferty ('Advisory Agreement''), Rafferty provides a continuous investment program for the Funds' assets in accordance with their investment objectives, policies and limitations, and oversees the day-to-day operations, subject to the supervision of the Trustees. Rafferty bears all costs associated with providing these advisory services. The Trust bears all other expenses that are not assumed by Rafferty as described in the Prospectus. The Trust also is liable for nonrecurring expenses as may arise, including litigation to which the Funds may be a party. The Trust also may have an obligation to indemnify
its Trustees and officers with respect to any such litigation. Pursuant to the Advisory Agreement, the Funds pay Rafferty at an annual rate of 0.75% based on their average daily net assets.
