Tensile Strength : 103 ¨C 138 N/mm2

Volume resistivity at 200C : 0.028080 Ohm-mm2 /M

The Aluminium Wire shall be clean, sound, smooth and free of pipes laps, cracks, kinks, twists, seams, damaged end, exsessive oil and other injurious defects within limits of good commercial practice.

After drawing the wire shall satisfy the requirement of ASTM B 230-85. BS 2627 for production of overhead conductors as per ASTM B 232-86 & BS 215 (Part ¨C 1 & Part -2)

PACKING:

The Materials shall be packed in coils of not more than 2 MT in wooden pallets with water proof polythene inside and hard board paper banded with 4(four) steel strips across the coil and out side wrapping of water repellent jute wrapping securely tied with 3(three) nylon strips to ensure safe transit by sea.

SAMPLE:

1. SAMPLE OF 100 METRE ALUMINIUM WIRE MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE LOCAL MANUFACTURES AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF THEIR OFFER.

2. FOREIGN BIDDER, WHOSE PRODUCT WAS NOT EARLIER USED/TESTED BY ECL MUST BE SUBMITTED A SAMPLE OF 100 METRE ALUMINIUM WIRE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF THEIR OFFER.

SPECIFICATION OF STEEL CORE WIRE FOR ACSR ¡®RAVEN¡¯

Size: 3.37 mm dia.

SPECIFICATION:

Galvanized steel core wire for ACSR ¡®REVEN¡¯ complying to the specification of ASTM B 498-74 (1979) of class ¡®A¡¯ coating latest revision thereof. The core wire will be used to manufacture ACSR conductor as per ASTM B 232-86 & latest revision thereof.

N.B: Negative tolerance of diameter of Steel Core Wire will not be acceptable.

PACKING:
The steel core wire to be supplied in single length of 10.5 Km plus 1% per wooden reel. The wooden reel must be sturdy treated, wrapped with polythene paper of suitable rust & moisture protection. The steel core wire shall be provided by use a suitable corrosion inhibitator grease or oil.
The dimension of wooden reels are as follows: -

SPECIFICATION OF STABILIZER FOR PVC COMPOUND
QUANTITY : 20 M.T

The stabilizer will make the PVC compound optimum heat stable to meet the VDE 0271 specification & will preserve optimum electrical properties of the PVC Resin:

The material will be the co-precipitate of the stabilizer plus lubricant.

3. Moisture content : 0.2% (Max)

4. Melting : The material is required to be melt completely within
 1100C & give optimum dispersion in the PVC resin.

 stabilizer requirement should be between 4.5 to 6.5 PHR.

6. Application : High performance stabilizer ¨C lubricant system used for 
 extrusion of plasticized PVC cables. It offers high
 thermal stability & excellent electrical properties.

Catalogue/ Literature containing detail specification, composition & all other information of the material must be supplied along with the offer.

SAMPLE:  2.5 kg sample must be supplied along with the offer, if the material was not earlier used/tested by Eastern Cables Ltd., Patenga, Chittagong.

PACKING:  Net 25 Kg in 4 ply Kraft paper bag will one ply P.E film liner. Export Standard sea worthy packing strong enough to withstand rough handling during transportation.
