¡¡¡¡Sizing of bags very much depends on the purpose for which the bag will be used. For instance, a common dimension for shipping containers is 89cmx 89cm, however, 74cmx 74cm or 104 cm x 104 cm might be better for rail freight. If just being used for storage, taller or wider bags may be preferred.

¡¡¡¡Tongda holds a wide range of fabric in different widths and grammage; enabling us to supply out of stock or custom manufactured to your requirements. 

¡¡¡¡In bulk bags, working loads from 500kg to 2,000kg are possible and fabrics are designed to meet a minimum of 5:1 safety factor. However, denser and stronger fabrics for a safe working load of 6:1 or higher can be manufactured. For hazardhous materials, a variety of UN approved bag designs are also available.

¡¡¡¡Fabrics woven with a breathing stripe allow the passage of more air (necessary for products like potatoes) while maintaining the integrity of the bag. Coated fabrics are suggested for use with either fine powder products or those sensitive to moisture. Conductive fabric and bag designs are available for products that form static energy. 
 
   As the standard bag will round out on filling, a design has been created which reduces this effect through the use of ¡¡¡¡internal baffles to provide tautness without in any way reducing capacity. This baffle bag will cut down on space requirements, thereby also lowering freight costs by as much as 30%

   The conical bag is designed specifically to assist in complete discharge of contents which are slightly sticky (like brown sugar).

      Mobility of these heavy bags is extremely important. Many different options are available to suit the diverse requirements for different sites.

  Self-standing loops are handy for unassisted forklift pick-up and for moving very tall bags. Hood lift, four-loop and sleeve lifts are specifically designed for use with forklifts. 

With the attachment of additional loops to the four loops, bags can be picked up by a hook. One-loop and two-loop bags are suitable for pick-up by either crane or forklift.

    Depending on the type of machinery operated and the product to be stored in the bag, a variety of filling options are available.

    For products of low value and not subject to moisture damage, no top may be neccessary. On the other hand, the duffel top still provides easy acces but ensures integrity of the contents

    The top with a draw cord permits air flow but still confinens the product and a cone top allows for extra filling for those materials which settle with time. Filling systems (including spouts) to attach to different pieces of equipment are also available

¡¡¡¡¡¡As many customers choose not to reuse their bags, a flat bottom which is slit to release the material is the most economical option. For those who prefer some reusability, a variety of discharge options is available. 
  
      Many spout options can be produced to match equipment and hygiene requirements.

      Covers over the tied-off spout protect products from contamination. A full drop bottom is also available for quick discharge.

¡¡¡¡¡¡To prevent the incursion of moisture, liners are available for all bag types. These liners can be loosely inserted, sewn in, or glued to the outer bag. 
 
      Note: Coated fabrics will retard moisture but not entirely prevent dampness.
