I really need to send this email out because
I'd hate to see anybody fall for this.
Most of you probably know about this already but
I'd like to make sure.

Something you may have seen in your email
quite often is these scams that try and trick you 
into clicking on a link and giving up all of your 
personal information, usernames, passwords and so on.

There's one going around right now using the pay pal
name, logo and even a link to the privacy policy.

Keep this in mind. If you see an email out of the blue 
that looks like it comes from one of the companies you 
do your transactions with, you should treat it as if it's
a bogus email.
Companies like pay pal ebay and banking sites don't contact you that way.

The link you see in the email is disguised.
Here's how you can check the real destination of the
link. 
In outlook express you can hover over the link and in 
your bottom task bar you'll be able to see the real 
web destination. It will usually be an ip address, 
groups of numbers with dots separating them.
You'll see that the name pay pal is not even there.
Also watch for links that may have the company name
included but are extensions of the link.
An example would be an ip address and an .htm on
the end of it with the company name.

If you want to satisfy your mind about the whole thing,
go to the actual site of the company in question and
check your account using a new web browser window and
the domain of the site. Log in to your account and
you can be sure that if there's any problem, it'll show
up there.
These companies don't ask for your information in an email
link.
Play it safe.

Again, Welcome to Biz Online Classifieds.

I'd like to introduce myself and let you in on what 
my background is in Internet Marketing, otherwise 
you might have the question in your mind "who is this
guy and why does he think he can help me"

I started in online marketing about 1995 and actually 
sold pages to businesses that connected to my own 
Compuserve account. This would be similar to a sub domain
that you see today when you sign up as an affiliate 
through a company.

Then I went on to write my own ebook on Import Export
which I'm still selling today and out of that was born 
the idea to have my own autoresponder software which 
is Network Responder.
The Biz Online Classified site was before all of the 
above, I should mention that.

So I've been involved with this for quite a few years.
I have a new project in the works that is an e-course
on outsourcing your own software needs and I have a 
give away software that is an ebook organizer with a
viral marketing twist that I'll be offering at no cost.
