In February 2017, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) released ISO17075-1:2017 and ISO17075-2:2017 to update the test standard ISO 17075, superseding the previous standard ISO 17075:2007. ISO 17075 is the standard specified in OEKO test procedures to determine the chromium(VI) content in leather. The new standard consists of two parts: ISO17075-1:2017 (colorimetric method) and ISO17075-2:2017 (chromatographic method). Both standards are applicable to all types of leather and suitable to quantify the chromium(VI) content in leathers down to 3 mg/kg. (The limit of chromium(VI) content in leather in REACH Annex XVII, Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 and LEATHER STANDARD by OEKO-TEX® is also 3mg/kg.) If a leather sample is tested with both this document and ISO 17075-2, the results obtained with ISO 17075-2 are considered as the reference. The advantage of the method described in ISO 17075-2 is that there are no interferences from the colour of the extract. C&K Testing reminds businesses to adopt new standard for product testing. ***免费电话:4006-721-723 热线:0571-87206587 传真:0571-87206533 邮箱:test@cirs-group(dot)com 官网:http://www(dot)cirs-ck(dot)com
