Through its fuilds and its well testing business, TETRA capitalizes on cyclical upturns in the oil and gas drilling cycle. Its newly acquiered compression business is oriented toward the less cyclical mid- to late-life produciton stage and has a large leasing component,which produces a steady revenue stream, independent of drilling activity.

多样经营使得TETRA公司比其他油田服务公司在财务业绩方面更趋于平衡。TETRA公司通过油田和油井的试验业务，将资金以周期性上升方式投向了油田和气田的钻探周期的运营。其新获得的压缩业务面向周期性不是那么强的中晚期生产阶段并有大量***于钻探业务以外的租赁设备，它们带来了稳定的收入来源
