Mostly,a High Pressure Water Equipment on Waterjet Cutiing Machine(or Abrasivejet Cutting Machine) applys intensifier(or called supercharger). It is a crucial assembly that runs through transformation of piston area to double pressure where is forced by driving liquid.Usually,its driving liquid is machinery oil.

Comparing with pump,remarkable advantage of intensifier is to control ultra-high pressure by the change of low pressure.It is easily to practice such control,and more safety.Due to the frequency of reciprocation of intensifier is less than ultra-high pressure pump (basically in 100r/min),and the pressure pulse on its outlet is big,so it must be installed a regulator as an assistant for intensifier. Surely,its cost is more higher than a pump.
